Call for Speakers now open for #GSMCON2025
We’re excited to announce the Call for Speakers for the 2025 Government Social Media Conference (GSMCON) is officially open!
This is your opportunity to share your expertise, inspire others, and make a lasting impact at the largest social media conference for government agencies. Whether you’ve pioneered innovative strategies, faced challenges head-on, or want to drive meaningful change in the field, #GSMCON® is where your ideas can make a difference.
Submit your proposal by 11:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 to be considered for our 10th anniversary event. GSMCON2025 will take place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort® from May 20-22, 2025, with both in-person and virtual ticket options available for a hybrid experience.

How to apply to be a presenter
Speaking at #GSMCON® is an extremely rewarding experience! Not only do selected speakers receive recognition and complimentary admission to the event, they also join the ranks of exceptional past speakers from around the world who participated in this leading program.
Here’s how you apply:
- Review our tips for a great entry, sample conference topics, proposal questions and speaker FAQs.
- Brainstorm how you can best teach your topic to your peers and craft your proposal!
- Officially submit your proposal through our application site by 11:59 p.m. PT, Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
After the application submission period ends, our speaker selection committee carefully reviews all entries. Selected speakers will be notified via email by Team GSM in mid-November 2024.
