Jacob Board

I manage all communications efforts for the City of Jacksonville Beach. On paper, we're a small beach town but serve as the choice beach destination for over 1 million residents in the greater Duval County (Jacksonville) area.

I manage the City's website, social media, external and internal communications, and community engagement efforts.

Juan Diasgranados

Juan Diasgranados is the Public Affairs Manager for the Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department, the eighth largest jail system in the country, overseeing and implementing the internal and external communications including all publications, videography, photography and crisis communication strategies for the office.

As a member of Command staff, Juan provides strategic direction and oversight for the departments' media and community relations efforts.

Mari Ganues

Develops the KHA communication and public relations plan to include media relations, brand management, and website and social media content.
Collaborates with leadership to develop communications and marketing to meet goals, drive brand recognition, and write copy and messages for print materials and promotional items.
Leads and works alongside a team who performs the following tasks:
Manages the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral.

Frances Rivera

As part of the digital communications team, I play a key role in connecting residents to city services through dynamic social media content. I contribute to developing content strategies, creating engaging posts, and driving interaction across platforms like Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn. By collaborating with department coordinators and creative teams, I help maintain a consistent brand presence and ensure our social media effectively informs and engages the community. @TheCityBeautiful

Beth Sherling

I am a government and public services professional with over 20 years of experience. For the last 10 years, I have been the digital content manager and marketing project coordinator in the Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Arts Department at the City of Lakeland, FL. I create and direct content needs for 3 social profiles and 160 web pages. I have the honor of working with our Communications team to develop strategic and thoughtful promotional packages for our green spaces and facilities.

Stephanie Silva

I graduated with my degree in Event Management from Rosen College of Hospitality. I've coordinated large-scale municipal events like fireworks shows and intimate swearing-in ceremonies with Elected Officials. I get to be creative daily crafting marketing campaigns for the City of Winter Park. I'm so passionate about showing residents and guests how wonderful
our city is.

Jamin Smith

Meet Jamin Smith, Digital Content Manager for the City of Lakeland. Starting as a Graphic Designer, Jamin developed skills in creating impactful visual content. In his current role, he manages the city’s social media and website, blending creative design with strategic communication. Jamin’s expertise in data metrics for social media and web analytics helps him tailor content that resonates with the community, ensuring messages are effective, engaging, and aligned with city initiatives.

Ashley Turner

Ashley Turner is the Social Media Manager for Charlotte County, overseeing 36 accounts across eight platforms. She leads digital communications during blue and grey skies, including Hurricane Ian, manages social media campaigns, and trains a team of 30 admins. A two-time Golden Post Award winner, Ashley is part of the Florida deployment team with disaster deployment experience. She's presented with Nextdoor, 3CMA, and more, is a FEMA Master PIO, and a published author on social media topics.

Leilani Vaiaoga

I am the communication specialist at MetroPlan Orlando. We are the metropolitan planning organization for Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. In my role I help with our external communication efforts. I focus on content creation and managing our social media channels. I currently help push our community outreach efforts for our 2050 Plan. I also have been involved with the Orlando chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) since 2019, and currently serve on the board.

Kimberly Walker

For the last ten years, I have worked for the Seminole County Property Appraiser, an elected official. My role involves managing social media channels, creating content, and coordinating community outreach initiatives, including all requested presentations for the Property Appraiser.
