ONLINE COURSE TERMS OF SERVICE
By purchasing this course, you agree to abide by the policies and procedures stated in this Terms of Service. We refer to you as “Participant” and us as “GSM”, for Government Social Media LLC.

REFUND POLICY
We put a tremendous amount of effort into creating what we feel are outstanding courses that bring agencies significant value. We stand behind our courses and have as high expectations as you do. Therefore, if after the first day of the course, you don’t feel it’s right for you or your learning style, you may request a FULL REFUND. Please ensure you submit your request by midnight local time on the first launch day of the course. Email refund requests to: info@governmentsocialmedia.com.

COURSE CANCELLATIONS
GSM reserves the right to refuse or cancel a registration or online course due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the registration or event nonviable. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a “live” online course, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer the registration to the same course at the new future date.

REGISTRATION
In order to participate in and contribute to GSM courses and communities, participants may be required to register with GSM. Any personal information or data supplied to GSM as part of the registration process and/or any other interaction with GSM will be collected, stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our online courses use the email address you provide to us in order to communicate with you about course content. Participants must ensure that the details provided on their registration is correct and complete, including informing GSM immediately of any changes to the information they provided when registering. Participant’s complete and accurate registration is personal to them and non-transferrable including sharing or exchanging with others.

To register on this website, participants must be over eighteen years of age unless they have the explicit permission of their parent or guardian.

COURSE MATERIALS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Course materials are for Participant’s individual use only. We acknowledge that Participant may use course materials in a professional capacity for their government agency, and that these course materials may be shared with government agency staff and used as guidance to create various plans and procedures. However, you may not publicly post our course materials, reproduce them or make them available outside your agency to those who have not participated in our course.

All intellectual property, including our program and/or course materials, remains the sole property of GSM. Participant is not authorized to license, sell, distribute, or make derivative works of GSM course materials.

Participant is fully responsible for the proper functioning of their computer hardware and internet access in order to access the Course. For GSM online courses that include a gated website with access to course materials such as video recordings, participants will have access for one year following the course. You will be required to use login credentials for some of the sections on the site and GSM reserves the right to block access to our services for any Participant who does not follow these conditions.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY
Course is developed for strictly educational purposes ONLY. Participant accepts and agrees that Participant is 100% responsible for their progress and results from the program. GSM provides materials ‘as is’ and makes no representations, warranties or guarantees verbally or in writing, whether expressed or implied. Participant understands that the results experienced by each participant may significantly vary. Participant releases GSM from any liability or damages resulting from Participant’s use of Course. You should not use this site in an unlawful manner; you must respect the website terms and conditions and follow our Privacy Policy. Under no situations or circumstances, will GSM be liable for any change in the content which it provides through Course, including but not limited to any errors, omissions, loss, or damage experienced in connection with the use of Course.

PAYMENT & DATA SECURITY
When participants provide a credit card number and other information required to purchase an online course, the data is transferred directly to our payment processing providers. GSM does not collect or store customers’ credit card or bank card information on our own physical servers. The information is encrypted via Secure Socket Layers (SSL) and submitted directly to the payment processing providers. Please note that GSM must receive payment in full before providing participants with access to course materials and program. GSM reserves the right to review and change the pricing of any courses, programs or products, but will not affect items that have already been purchased.

RESTRICTION
GSM may restrict participants’ access to the course materials and program if they breach these terms, including without limitation, a failure to make any payment due to GSM; or failure to provide accurate information that is necessary for GSM to provide the course program to participants.

DISCLOSURE UNDER LAW
GSM reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, including personally identifiable information, or to edit, refuse to allow or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in GSM’s sole discretion.

NOTICES OF CHANGES TO THE TERMS
GSM may modify terms of this agreement at any time. All modifications shall be posted on the GSM website and Participants shall be notified. You shall notify GSM of any change in your notification email address.
