I want to offer my experience and expertise to the GSM Council to enhance regional communication, build a supportive network, and promote best practices in social media. I want to foster engaging dialogue with the communities I serve in my work by influencing strategic direction and collaborating with peers. The council offers leadership opportunities to impact public trust. It provides professional development resources, such as webinars and training, to stay updated on social media trends. Serving on the council will advance my career and help improve how government entities engage with the public.
NorthwestĀ Region Membership
OurĀ association supports a community of government professionals who collaborate about using social media for their agencies. Members elect a representative to serve the association and their region for a term of two years. Members and representatives follow a code of conduct.
