October 2023 socialgov training: Live chats, webinar & more
Looking for the latest government social media training? Want to meet fellow professionals who work in the same niche field as you do? You’ve come to the right blog!
We have great virtual events coming up in October 2023 that can get you training to do your job best while also getting you connected with your socialgov support system. Whether you become a member of the GSM professional association to be part of monthly webinars or collaborate together during GSMChat in the free GSM network, we encourage you to join in on these events created specifically for public service communicators.
Before we get to more on how you can join October’s socialgov events, we have an important question to ask: Did you get your ticket to GSMCON2024 yet? Make sure to do so soon! Free GSM network & GSMChats
The free GSM network is where you’ll find a place where you can connect with government communicators (not held on a major social media platform!), and it’s only open to full/part-time employees of government and educational institutions.
A major benefit of joining the network is to participate in our bi-weekly Government Social Media Chats (GSMChat), happening every other Thursday since 2015. You’ll meet with government social media professionals to discuss and share ideas with each other on different topics in a text-only chat. Recaps are available for most chats, too!
