We’re anticipating in-person ticket sales for GSMCON2024 will hit capacity before our original plan to close registration in early April 2024. There’s an unlimited amount of virtual tickets available, but if you’re planning to join hundreds of other government professionals for the spectacular in-person event in Palm Springs, California, we encourage you to register to reserve your spot sooner rather than later.

When will the in-person event sell out?

It won’t be tomorrow, it won’t be next week, but our projections show in-person tickets will be gone way before the event starts!

We want to let you know this info now if you’re planning to meet in Palm Springs, CA, so you can plan ahead, get your approvals in, and secure your spot. Plus, by acting now, you can also make stress-free arrangements for travel and hotel accommodations. 

Why is the in-person event selling out so fast?
The sellout frenzy for GSMCON2024 can be attributed to a blend of factors that has set this year’s GSMCON apart.

Most importantly, the immense support from our devoted community of government professionals has been nothing short of exceptional. GSMCON is the premium (and largest!) social media conference for government, and we’re excited to continue our mission to empower government professionals to achieve mastery in social media. 

Secondly, GSMCON is taking over the entire property at the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa! This means once we hit capacity, there aren’t additional accommodation options.

We’re happy to peel back the curtain for this great question: Every year, we take a lot of considerations into choosing the right property, like capacity, experience, cost effectiveness for attendees, location, catering needs and much more goes into these decisions. Based on our own historical attendee projections, growth rates, plus all of these factors, the Westin was the right choice! What hasn’t happened before is the rate at which govies are securing their in-person tickets — this surge is something we haven’t seen in past years, meaning in-person tickets will be gone sooner than anticipated.
